Vladslav Bocenko
Soloist of the Slovak National Theatre
He graduated from the Kyiv State Ballet Academy. From 2017 to 2019, he was a leading soloist at the National Opera of Kharkiv. Between 2019 and 2022, he served as a soloist at the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv, where he collaborated with Edvin Revazov, known for his work with Ballet John Neumeier.
During his time with the SND Ballet, he performed leading roles such as Albert in Giselle (choreographed by R. Avnikjan after J. Perrot, J. Coralli, M. Petipa), Colas in La Fille mal gardée (choreographed by F. Ashton), and the Prince in The Nutcracker (choreographed by R. Avnikjan, J. Dolinský after V. Vajnonen). His other notable performances included the Esmeralda pas de deux (choreographed by N. Beriozoff), a solo in Dance to Yourself (choreographed by N. Poláková), and the Beggar Leader in Manon (choreographed by Kenneth MacMillan).
His repertoire spans both classical and neoclassical ballets, including roles such as Sylfida in La Sylphide (James), characters in Flames of Paris, Diana and Acteon in Diana and Acteon, Satanella, and the Pas d'Action in Bajadéra. He has also danced as Basilio in Don Quixote, the Prince in The Nutcracker, Rothbart in Swan Lake, the Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty, Peasant pas de deux in Giselle, Lankedem and the Pas d'Esclave in Le Corsaire, Two Friends in Raymonda, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and Frollo in Notre Dame de Paris. Additionally, he has performed in ballets by John Neumeier.
He has showcased his talent internationally, performing in countries such as England, America, China, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Poland, Japan, Germany, and Hungary.
He won the international ballet competition Tanzolymp in Berlin in 2019.
